This is actually a fashion article and fashion snap shots for Fasity.Com, but I think the idea to twist and combine Batik with casual wear will be really useful for all of us. So, I post it here too..:)

Continuing my last report of snap shots at Metissages :D.., I present you some snap shot pictures in one post. I put them all together since they have similar theme, which is traditional, hand painted and batik fabric.

I really love the way these girls combine the batik with modern casual wear. The way they twist and create the shape, the way they combine the color and motives, are just excellent. I most impressed by the twist that the girl made to create the shape of the skirt and combine it with tights and courts. Brilliant!

Madame Armand surely has a very unique and classy taste. She really has a great eye on the hand painted and hand embroidered skirt. The graphic shows a Japanese women in colorful background. Very unique. And she combined it in a very chic way!

Elise Mignot is a pure Parisian lady. Look at her super chic combination! Her shoes, oh wow...so stylish. Her bag, simple but still chic. And the way she combine the top with batik skirt and also the suede jacket, and don't forget the overall color pallete.., well...that's so Parisian.

So, now you already have some inspiration on how to use your traditional and batik fabric in a very chic and stylish way. :) It is amazing how a batik fabric could really shows your personality and create a unique overall look.
